Vehicle
Intelligence can make time in the vehicle more productive and
also offers a wide variety of entertainment options -- all on
a universally familiar, easy-to-use open, modular, forever expandable
platform. For the internet and route guidance, Windows 98 was
used when the system was demo'ed for The 12 Volt News at the
Philadelphia airport recently.
What Wayne Bagrowski and Franz Heldweig had installed in their Ford
350 demo room on wheels was nothing short of spectacular. Emails
and news articles were read in a pleasant voice and precise routes
were displayed quickly on the screen, along with voice guidance.
The multimedia entertainment possibilities include DVD or CD Rom
music, movies and games available on multiple screens. Sound
and video quality were superb.
The DIN-sized in-dash PC's CPU can be mounted vertically or horizontally.
The in-dash PC can be operated through the touch screen or wireless keyboard.
The in-dash PC's standard screen can even double as a rear vision monitor using
an optional USB camera! InVehicle
Intelligence (IVI) is here.
